I know…This is a really late Warped post. But better late than never… This was my first time going to Warped Tour, and I’ll be honest, I was a little skeptical. There’s something about open air
parking lot festivals that aren’t appealing to me. 1. You never know where the stage(s) is. 2. scheduling conflicts between bands 3. the live experience is not as personal as a small venue. 4. Waaaaay too many people.
So going to Warped Tour 2013 with pretty low-expectations the festival turned out to be pretty amazing! My only complaint, is I’m pretty bummed I only got to catch half of Handgun’s set and completely missed Architects, The Story So Far and Defeater.
Handgun’s set was legit, even though we only caught half of it.
If it wasn’t for No Bragging Rights throwing up flyers everywhere and posting on Instagram/Twitter with their set time, I would have probably missed their set!
I was literally wandering around when I heard The Wonder Years doing sound check. As soon as I heard what sounded like, “Came Out Swinging” I just started running the direction of the music.
Obviously, No Bragging Rights was the main reason I wanted to go to Warped! My dudes killed it! These guys are by far one of the most positive and down to earth guys!
a ton of bands that I forgot to take pictures of. I got to see the Early Novembers as well as some of the Bring Me The Horizon set, which was crowded as fuck!
near the exit! This band definitely deserved a better spot on the tour. Also if look closely, you can spot Mike Perez repping our Sleepy Bones tank top.
